1. Better Animals Plus

Better Animals Plus is excellent for any cottagecore fantasy because it adds more than 35 animals to Minecraft, plus some extra blocks and items.

Birds, deer, bears, and butterflies are some of the great mobs you'll encounter while exploring. After all, your cottagecore fantasy world wouldn't feel complete without cute animal companions!

2. Nature Expansion

I've added Nature Expansion to my list of Minecraft cottagecore mods for 1.18 because the game benefits a lot from biome overhauls to achieve an ideal aesthetic. Nature Expansion will make exploring as fun as building your home or farming your crops!

The mushroom sprouts are one of my favorite new things here. I suggest you check out the other mods by Ddx11_ if you're looking for more specific content.

3. ValleyCraft

ValleyCraft focuses on modifying how you farm and cook, with substantial changes in world generation. The team took inspiration from Stardew Valley and The Legend of Zelda games. You can definitely feel their influence here!

In addition, you will find rope bridges, scarecrows, furniture, and more than 80 new recipes, some with special buffs and effects.

If you're looking to spice things up in your cottagecore experience and use Fabric, don't hesitate to test ValleyCraft yourself!

4. Enhanced Mushroom

Mushrooms are a staple in the cottagecore aesthetic, so Enhanced Mushrooms is a must-have in your Minecraft world. This mod includes two new wood types equivalent to their giant mushroom counterparts.

Aside from several tweaks that will allow players to make mushroom building projects more viable.

With Enhanced Mushrooms, your home will look stunning, so if you're creating your own list of Minecraft cottagecore mods for 1.18, I strongly suggest you give this one a go!

Promenade is an incredible Minecraft cottagecore mod for 1.18 if you're interested in adding diverse biomes, mobs, and items to your world.

My favorite addition from Promenade is the Cherry Oak Forest which comes in white and pink variants!

So much potential to achieve the cottagecore vibes here! If you're venturing into the Nether, pay attention to the new mushroom variants replacing most of the barren Nether wastes.

The Takeaway

I cannot deny that I'm really looking forward to the next release. In the meantime, I'm more than happy to share my list with my favorite Minecraft cottagecore mods for 1.18. I'd love to hear from you if you've tested any of these!
